When I drive with my dad, we crank the volume, open the sun roof and sing like fools along with the vinyl greats played on the XM stations 70s on 7. The Kiss on My List Gloss Set (named for one of my favourite Hall & Oats songs) is the perfect gloss collection for retro music lovers like myseld with each gloss named after a 70s hit that perfectly suits each colour. And who can resist a collection that plays homage to the great Hall & Oates?
Kisses on My List Volume 2 is a set of six-high shine glosses in cream and shimmer shades. Three of the shades (Jolene, Lola, Roxanne) have the new Hypercolour formula that has the dual function of a lip stain and a gloss. All of the glosses are long wearing and moisturizing, although they have a thicker consistency when they are first applied. The colour saturation and dimension make lips look fuller and poutier. The shimmer is very refined and works fantastic on its own and layered over a satin or matte lipstick.

The silicone spatula shaped applicator still has me on the fence. For makeup artists this is a great way to dispense product on the back of your hand or on to a disposable palette for hygienic application. For personal use, it takes a bit of experimenting. I like to use the tip precise application around lip edges and then the flat side to distribute the product. This method isn’t the smoothest because of the gloss thicker consistency but it is manageable for quick touch ups. Most often I just pick up the product off the applicator with a lip brush for the smoothest and most even distribution of product.
