According to the “Lydia” calendar, September 1 is synonymous with the beginning of Fall. The trees in my backyard have already begun to shed their fragrant foliage and take on the burnished colour that makes me long for comfy sweaters, spiced drinks and crackling fires. While many of you may be dreading the changing of the seasons, I am embracing my most beloved time of year with welcoming arms.
Having the summer free of lesson planning allowed me to do some beauty/fashion homework. I stalked Style.com and took my fill of all the runway shows from my favourite designers and dissected the coming beauty trends with excitement, wonder, and–for a few–trepidation. I have compiled my favourite looks from each of the major trends. The two trends that I will definitely be adopting in to my fall regimen are New Goth and Bold Brows.
