My precious! Come to momma!
Yes, I have achieved the unachievable. Months after selling out all over Vancouver I found a Guerlain Cruel Gardenia Meteorites. And how cruel the search was! Laughing and mocking sales associates, taunting beauty bloggers (not really, but I was bitter), and two blistered feet later, bliss is mine.
Ever heard the saying “Beauty comes with a price?” Yea, well after provincial taxes the cost really was cruel. It is certainly worth the price based on the product quantity (this will take YEARS to finish) and quality (leaves all my other illuminators in the dust…sorry MAC MSF). Pictures honestly don’t do this product justice. Regardless, I am putting myself on a no-buy until June. I am actually excited about this-it is surprisingly liberating. I have lost some of my excitement for new beauty products and my collection is over saturated with amazing products I need to rediscover and use up.
This doesn’t mean no more reviews. I have a folder saved to my computer labelled “swatches” that is FULL of pictures that are just waiting for review (YSL Glossy Stains for one). My career, life commitments and general blogging laziness have put some of these on the back burner, but now I can dive in.
GRADE: A++

Gorgeous!! So glad you could find something you love, Lydia!
HAHA SCORE!!! So happy for you!!
that’s how I felt about the Guerlain pressed meteorites that sold out before I could get it and the beautiful Tracy (@beauty reflections) helped me get my hands on it, I agree, it does hurt to pay but it’s such beauty !!! I wonder if the new mac highlighters come even close to this? hmmm
It’s always nice to finally get a product that you’ve had your eye on for a while. Very pretty color and the packing is pretty too!
